Loren Kagan, CEO

Loren’s journey into the business world began with the mentorship of his grandfather who encouraged his entrepreneurial spirit from an early age. In recent years, Loren has been guided by the mentorship of Paul, whose extensive experience in the restaurant industry has offered invaluable insights and wisdom.

From Loren's invaluable experiences, he learned a foundational principle: if the guest leaves satisfied, everything else falls into place. This philosophy has deeply influenced Loren's approach to business, prioritizing customer experience and satisfaction as the key drivers of success.

Paul Owens, COO

Paul's leadership at Kagan Imports is underscored by his deep expertise in the wine and spirits industry, where he has developed and executed strategies tailored to the unique demands of these markets. He has built strong relationships with top vendors and distributors, ensuring seamless contract negotiations and fostering partnerships that drive mutual growth.

Paul's career began under the tutelage of industry legends Klaus Fritsch and Arnie Morton, founders of Morton’s of Chicago, and George Biel of Houston’s and Hillstone restaurants. Paul has led numerous product launch campaigns, from concept through execution, and his insights into market trends have enabled him to develop effective pricing strategies that appeal to both clients and consumers.
